My mother was transferred to Bradenton River Rehabilitation Center after having a stroke. The staff are attentive and have answered all my questions. The care they have given my mother is exceptional and goes behind what they are required to do. I recommend this facility above all others in the area. Despite all the challenges my mother has to face, she is well-taken care of by all staff members.

My mother is a patient at Braden River from the first day she arrived to this facility she was treated with nothing but kindness and great respect . The staff are all great I've never been to a facility where the staff members treats you like family this facility is a step above the rest.I would recommend any of my family and friends to Barden River . The administratior Danielle was so helpful to me she pointed me in the right direction to get the necessary paperwork I needed for my job. The Rehab team is awesome as well .

Just want to say how much I appreciate all the good work at the Braden River Rehabilitation Center. They have made great efforts to provide a welcoming and caring home for residents. I have a close relative who is a long term resident there. Recently, when I visited, I found everyone I met to be helpful and genuinely interested in the welfare of the residents. I met Jessica, who is a Physical Therapist. She goes out of her way to help residents be as active as possible. She really cares! She is just one example of how the whole staff is doing all they can to be helpful. They have also made many improvements in the facility to make it more comfortable. Highly recommended!

I am here to tell you that I was scared to come here...I have broken my Femur at my hip in February of 2023, had a horrible car accident in september of 2023 which I shattered my Femur and knee in 12 places,broke 7 ribs,and my ring finger on my right leg... then in July of 2024 I fell off of my 3 wheel mobility scooter and broke my Femur at my knee on my left leg. ..so to say that I have been in rehabilitation center from Pt.Charlotte, Sarasota and now in Bradenton...I was in a nice place in Bradenton first but then had to move from there to Braden River Rehab Manatee....I was so scared to have to change....the first two were terrible and the CNA were no good...so I still had to move here...I CRIED the night before coming here...I prayed "Let Go and Let God"...i have been here for 100 days and i am truly sad that i have to leave....I got here the first Nurse was Dustin and that was God's way of letting me know that God was in control...That is my youngest son name...he was the greatest, always tentative to all of my needs and concerns...worked like a dog around here..Dustin went to Orlando with us and did an amazing job keeping up with all of his patients and did it to his best..there was another nurse there and she also did an amazing job, i just dont remember her name..there also are several other wonderful Nurses at the rehab.. Kimberly, Kara, Sheme, and there is another guy that I can't think of his name because he worked down at the other end on my floor...Then the CNA's were just incredible 1st shift...Shelia is the hardest worker I have ever met...she and Fran changed patients, got patients up, passed out trays for breakfast, changed beds, got patients ready Dr's Appointment and never complained, just did there jobs...the both of them went to Orlando for the hurricane they bith never stopped taking care of patients when others just did as much as they had to do...her and Fran, I called her Frannie Bannie she was great...day shift ... 2nd shift...there was Yowanda she was amazing, Renee he all was willing to help...and Isabella was the greatest also...3 rd shift...Erna 11 to 7 was so attentive to every need...Her daughter also I can't remember her name I only had her a few times...Then rehab the first PT that I has was another sign from God was Claire and that is my late mother's name...and she was more then wonderful...the PT that I had was May she really got me to an amazing place in my walking....and then for OT Joy was the greatest also...then the others were Lindsey, Ryan, Ned, Glennese, Jessica, and more but can't remember there names. . . Miss Dee in Actives was such a blessing as she did Bingo i only wish we could have had it every day, outings, arts and crafts, Nail care, snacks and movies....the Best...I had 3 roommates 2 of them were the best.. I even have there numbers and call them after they left and talk to them...only one that was very rude...if she was hot she opened the door, if she was cold she would shut the door, controlled the TV, told me to shut off my light, got mad when I asked her if her family could take there chairs out of the room so I could get my wheelchair around to go to the bathroom... she did really like anyone, complained about the CNA, The Nurses, and other patients, she made the CNA's to shut there doors if at 9:00 there TV was to loud for her...and her TV was at 40 loud which had my head going crazy because it was to loud....she finally got upset with me and asked to be moved....the DON is the best...always when he walks by some of the patients that had become friends with me and he would be so kind to us...The head Nurse was also the best...Braden River Rehabilitation Center you made my stay the best...I actually am crying because I am having to leave....God Bless you all...I also loved the Fact that the ones that worked there weren't afraid to let us know that they were believer's. .. My Wife was a patient for 5 weeks and got top notch care. The staff was caring and family like, way to many to name names. I also recommended the facility to a long time close friend that got great care like a family member also. Keep up the great care and service. The only reason it's not a five star rating is foodservice needs improving.

Great staff and family environment.

January, 2024... my second time here for hospital aftercare for Cellulitis and wound care. I have had to be in several healthcare facilities for Cellulitis in Las Vagas and Bradenton, FL. There is no better facility that I have been in that has treated my healthcare and healing needs better than Braden River Rehab. Not perfect... no place is due to a post-Covid shortage of healthcare personnel, but I am a healthy person due to their care.

When my wife came to Braden River Rehab she was in very poor shape. It was mid August and she had been released from the hospital after having septus, pnenumonia, kidney problems, being on a ventolater, oxygen, feeding tube, etc. She could not walk, talk,swallow or communicate. With the help of a fantastic staff of professionals, OT, PT, Speech, and support staff she is only a little over a week from coming home instead of going to assisted living. We highly recommend Braden River. Everyone was great.

Highly recommend this facility as a nurse for 23 years I have had the experience to work with many rehabilitation facilities and my patients i see from here are well cared for and the individual attention they receive to help with their needs in the facility and to go back into the community by Alyse Walton in Social services is the best in Bradenton I have seen. She is a huge asset and I have seen great improvement in the facility since she has taken over this role.

My father in law loves it there He is eating well and gaining weight!!!

Over all place real centered on patient care and the social worker Alyse was just definitely goes the extra mile to help.

My mother- in- law recently stayed here to recover from surgery. The service was top notch and the staff treated her like family. Due to insurance, she was discharged sooner than we would have liked. The Braden River Rehab staff continues to support us to make sure we are able to get the medical help my mother in law needs to fully recover.

Braden River Rehabilitation Center has an amazing staff; from the Occupational Therapist, Physical Therapist, CNAs, to the front desk receptionist. The Physical Therapy department was very knowledgeable and proactive with regards to developing plans to better their patients everyday form of living. Overall you can see these group of individuals really do provide the best patient care!

I had a good experience at this place when my mom broke her hip...the nursing group...CNAs..amazing..and therapists especially Ryan Henderson...PTA...my mom recovered a lot with their therapies.. Thanks to the entire team...

Braden River Rehab was recommended to me by a friend who had great things to say. After admitting my father to the facility for his stay I couldn’t agree more. He was cared for and attended to by the staff on a regular basis. Most of all he was comfortable with his stay and our expectations were met.

My grandfather was at Braden River for over a month. Caring staff Every Day. Exceptional Care. I am very appreciative of the staff there. Rehab helped make his recovery very quick.

This facility has an excellent staff that provides amazing care. I wouldn't want to work at any other facility. This facility is top notch!!

Brian in Admissions is absolutely amazing! After trying for weeks and weeks to get my Father transferred from the hospital into a facility with no luck, Brian came though for us! Every time I called to speak with him he was very pleasant and willing to help. He went well above and beyond to help get my Father into this facility. Thank you so much Brian!

We had been looking for help to place my Dad's wife in long term care and we were having a difficult time getting help. Then I found Brian Michalo, director of admissions at this facility. He was very helpful and understanding of our situation. With his help, we were able to quickly transfer her to a room here. If not for Brian's guidance, I'm not sure what we would have done. So far, everyone we have met here has been friendly and helpful. We know they all have a tough job to do and we appreciate them all. Thanks Brian.

My Grandmother was in this facility and she loved it. Great patient care and customer service. I would highly recommend this facility to anyone looking for placement for their loved ones.

Very nice renovation, family friendly atmosphere

Being in the healthcare field for 20 years, I am extremely impressed with the leadership of this building. The Administrator and Director of Nursing take a hands on approach to ensure the quality of care for the residents. It is very seldom you come across an Administrator who is out on the floors knowing all their patients and family members and ensuring the care is above standards. I feel very blessed to represent such an quality facility.

My mother recovered and rehabbed here after a difficult illness. She had many issues that needed to be addressed. The team here coordinated care for those issues and worked together between all departments to give her the best chance possible to get back to her prior living arrangement. The administration, nursing, CNA, housekeeping and rehab staff were some of the kindest people I have ever encountered at this type of facility.The rehab team is innovative and thoughtful; focusing on the individual needs of a resident. When the need for full time nursing comes, I will feel confident that Braden River is the place to go.

Wow, what a amazing experience I have had at this newly renovated facility for short term rehab or long term home stays. Everyone of the nurses works very hard and passionately to take care of there residents. The management listens and responds to complaints and suggestions. If your going to have to choose a facility for rehabilitation or long term care then Braden River rehab is where you want to be. Thank you to the management and staff for all you do for the residents of Braden River Rehab.

The team leadership excels in care expectations and meeting patient needs the current NHA is dedicated to improving the physical structure as this is a well loved facility with many seasoned staff who have years of tenure who care and love the residents.

Braden River Rehab is a facility full of team members that treat our residents like family. Customer Service is number one. Definitely a place to bring your loved ones when life brings you challenges.

We are currently reorganizing our management team to rebuild the morale and customer service, for not only our residents and/or family members but our employees as well. Customer care is our first priority, with that the residents needs are always put first.

My mother is in this facility and I am shocked to see the bad reviews. My mom gets very good care here, and I have no problems at all, and I appreciate all that the staff does. My mom is in the memory unit which is very difficult and she is always clean and happy. The staff all tell me that she is their "favorite" which just melts my heart.

My mother had the opportunity to stay at Braden River Rehab twice within the last 5 months after she had fallen and obtained fractures both times. The staff were extremely accommodating to her needs as well as my father's, for it was a difficult time for both of them. My mother could not get over how all the staff went out of their way to make sure she had every thing she needed. They were always pleasant while checking on her often and providing really good care. Many smiling faces made her day everyday while she was there. The therapy team also did a great job and quickly got her back on her feet so she could return home with my dad. Quito's to all the staff who provided a home away from home. We can't thank you enough for all your hard work.Also, Mom would always comment on how good the food was which also helped with her recovery.

Dad is now at Braden River Care Center, and I am very impressed with the facility. The staff are very compassionate, helpful, and very attentive.

My Mom was a resident in your dementia unit since 2006. I can not begin to thank Chris, the administrator and Helen H., head nurse and the rest of your staff from 4 East unit. And also your entire staff that makes Braden River Care Center the best place in Manatee County for Nursing home needs. The care, Love and compassion she got within your facility is unfounded! She spent her last 18 hours under your care with the assistance of Tidewell Hospice, together you made it a very peaceful experience for my Mom as well as myself. The entire night and day, as staffers found out of her declining health, they stopped by to visit us both and make sure any and every need was met. I could not have asked for a more pleasant experience under the circumstances. When she did finally pass that evening, again, as word got out, staffers one by one came by and asked to say goodbye and expressed their sincere Love for my Mom. How could anyone ask and/or expect such a high standard to be met with regard to the care of their loved one? I would only hope that not only will you share my sentiments with your staff but also make a copy and proudly display it in your lobby for all to see. And use it as a tool to all prospective families considering your facility for a family member. My great aunt has been living here for the past two years and she really likes it there. I visit about two times per month. I bring my toddlers along with me and and it is not a problem. The staff is friendly and upbeat each time that I have been there. They have fairly open visiting hours (I don't remember them exactly, but I have never been refused seeing her and when she has been late getting back from family functions and events outside of the facility there is also not a problem upon her return). The rooms and public areas are decorated very nicely and the food service seems to be good there. The facility always smells nice and residents seem to be happy and have a good relationship with the staff. There are also courtyards and common areas for residents to mingle and spend time with each other or alone outside of their rooms. The staff is also quick to respond when the resident uses the call button. They also alert family/guardians to any changes and/or medical events that are minor or severe in a timely manner. The only two suggestions that I would have is to tighten security a little more. I think that it may be completely possible for someone to steal from the resident's rooms. However, the best security is also mostly undetected. I can't remember seeing cameras or security staff. The only other suggestion is to improve the exterior grounds and parking lot. The outside of the building needs some maintenance and the foliage could use some trimming to make it seem like a happier place and match the inside more.
